Our Fairtrade Event – ‘Make it Happen, Choose Fairtrade’ which was held on Saturday 7th March 2009 enabled us to make a donation of £200 to the Yakanaka Foundation (www.yakanaka.com). The Yakanaka Foundation runs projects in Zimbabwe. The donation enabled the organisation to buy 600kg of CSB fortified porridge which is fed to the malnurished children and orphans in the area - and kept the feeding programme going for another 50 days. |
